Interview Process

We assess each application individually and if you are successful in this first process, we may invite you to a group interview and/or a face to face interview. Our interviews are a mix of behavioural and technical questions and we also provide you with an overview of Wests and the role you are applying for. All our positions require our team to love serving people and providing exceptional experiences for our customers.

Background Check and Medical Check

Our next step is employment background checking, which includes reference checking, Police Checks and a pre-employment medical check before being offered a role.


Our final step is making an offer of employment to join the Wests team.


To ensure a smooth transition to the Wests team you will have a number of tasks and documents to read and complete and bring to your employment induction. You will also be required to attend an orientation day as well as complete online learning modules as part of the onboarding process.
