Camden Athletic Club is a proud, family-focused, supportive Club that welcomes all new members, celebrates our children’s participation and achievements and works to promote fitness and fun in a positive environment.

Little Athletics, in general, is not really about winning, but about having fun, making friends and getting families involved in healthy activities.

The Camden Cats AFL Club are a Premier Division level club playing in the AFL Sydney competition. They have a long history of over 30 years in the Macarthur Region and now the largest senior AFL club in South West Sydney.

Camden Tigers Football Club has provided organised football for Camden’s youth since 1961, providing graded local competition through the Macarthur Football Association for Small-sided Games(U/6 , U/11), Youth (U/12 to U/18) and Senior Levels (All-Age and Over 35s), and M-League Men’s and Women. You can find the  clubhouse and upgraded playing fields at Ron Dine Reserve, Cowper Drive, Camden South.

Administers Camden Valley Basketball Association (also known as the Camden Valley Wildfires) is one strong, progressive and united organisation to develop basketball in Camden. They have a progressive and vibrant Management Committee and base of volunteers throughout the Association. Established in 2010 and currently in excess of 800 players. Over 1010 local domestic competition teams playing weekly. Over 600 junior players aged from 5 years to 18 years of age. Fields Representative teams in the Basketball NSW Metropolitan Junior League.

15 individual clubs which participate in junior and senior cricket competitions across the Macarthur/Wollondilly district. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues for the Association as well as the individual clubs. Approximately 2,000 players participate in this Association.

Administers Netball in the Camden Region. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues for the Association, which includes 11 clubs within and also provides funding to administer the competition for those clubs and to assist with equipment, uniform purchases. Teams range from Netta (Junior’s) through to Seniors as well as Representative teams, consisting of approximately 2,000 players.

Provides cricketing pathways in the Macarthur region for representative cricket players. There are 13 teams with approximately 200 players who play in the Sydney Cricket competition for men and women. The Club provides presentation venues and funding to support coaching programs, coaching accreditation, equipment purchases and subsidies for representative players.

Administers netball in the Campbelltown region. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues for the Association which includes 24 Clubs within and also provides funding for administering the competition for those Clubs with a subsidy that provides a Family Discount Scheme. Teams range from Netta (Junior’s) through to Seniors as well as Representative teams, consisting of approximately 5,000 participants.

Campbelltown Ghosts Junior Baseball Club

A baseball club that plays in the Macarthur Baseball League comprising of 15 teams, 150 players from juniors to senior level; men, women and children. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues, as well as funding to reduce registration costs for individuals, equipment upgrade purchases and safety equipment.

Camden District Cricket Association has clubs with teams playing organised games of junior and senior cricket across the South Western Sydney local government areas, Camden, Campbelltown, and Wollondilly. They participate in the Australian Junior Cricket Pathway of Woolworths Cricket Blast Junior Blasters, Master Blasters, Pop-Up Clinics, and after-school programs, through to all stages of Junior Cricket and more. Camden District Umpires Association manages the delivery of umpires across cricket in the region.

The Campbelltown Harlequin Rugby Football Club was formed in 1972 by several rugby buffs at the local pub “Lacks Hotel”. Over the years the club has competed in both the Sydney and Illawarra Rugby Union competitions with varying levels of success.

The Eschol Park Little Athletics Centre offers a Tiny Tots program, as well as a wide range of running, jumping, throwing and walking events, for children from U6’s to U17’s. 2021-2022 will be the 31st year as a club. The Eschol Park Centre is a member of the Little Athletics Association of NSW. More than 40,000 Little Athletes compete in New South Wales and there are about 200 Little Athletes registered with the Eschol Park Little Athletics Centre.

Comprises of referees to officiate in the Group 6 Rugby League, at junior and senior games. There are currently 76 referees within the association. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation facilities as well as funding to assist with the training and development of referees and uniform and equipment purchases.

Administers the local Macarthur competition and representative teams in the Macarthur area for juniors and seniors. There are 10 clubs within and approximately 1,500 players and administrators. The Club provides meeting rooms, presentation venues as well as funding to subsidise tournament entry costs for representative players and the development of junior umpires.

Established in 1998 at their home track location on Hilder St, Elderslie. From that moment, a group of dedicated parents took on the task of building the club in the local area, so children and adults of all ages to ride their bikes in a safe environment. Club membership grew steadily for a few years until the sport of BMX was introduced as an Olympic event in the 2008 Summer Olympics. From then, a rapid increase in numbers was noted, with Macarthur BMX now regarded as the largest club in the state with over 380 members.

The MDFRA is one of the biggest associations in NSW, with 361 members representing the Macarthur region including the Camden, Picton and Bargo districts. The association has served the local football community for the last 39 years and currently supplies referees to all age groups in Macarthur from U8’S through to M League both make and female. 

Administers Football (Soccer) in the Macarthur, Camden and Wollondilly areas for both male and female participants from U6 to All Age and over 35’s as well as teams in the Women’s competition. 24 Clubs with approximately 9,500 players across the Region. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues for the Association and its member Clubs as well as funding towards insurance costs for junior players.

The Macarthur RAMS Football Club (MRFC) play in the Football NSW Premier League (PL2) competition. The home ground of the Macarthur RAMS First Grade, U20’s, Youth League and SAP is Lynwood Park, Rangers Road, St Helens Park, New South Wales – Australia.

Located at the Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre and primarily conducts Triathlons and Aquathons, where members have the opportunity to achieve their desired result whether for fitness or to compete at national or international level. Comprises of U7’s through to Seniors with 180 members. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues as well as funding towards coaching and development, uniforms and equipment.

A successful swimming club with a total of 124 members from the Junior Dolphins through to Senior/Pensioners. The club continues to provide a range of swimming opportunities for the local community and also provides opportunities for those with intellectual and physical disabilities. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues, as well as funding to subsidise mandatory swimming capitation fees, assistance for the Junior Dolphins programs, and uniforms.

Encompasses approximately 250 players from U10’s through to Senior grades. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues as well as funding for the development of cricket.

An amateur swimming club based in a rapidly growing new area, consisting of approximately 144 members who swim competitively at both club nights and in carnivals against other clubs throughout the State and Australia. In 2012 were named NSW Swim Club of the Year and continues to professionally run their club, representing the Macarthur area. The Club provides presentation venues as well as funding to assist meet mandatory swimming capitation fees and equipment upgrades.

The club is located in a rapidly growing area and is comprised of 8 teams and 80 players. The Club provides meeting and presentation venues, as well as funding to assist in reducing registration fees, purchasing uniforms and equipment.

Formed in 2013 with 8 teams, this club is located in a rapidly expanding area and has grown to encompass 22 teams as of 2016. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues, as well as funding to help reduce registration fees and purchase equipment and uniforms.

Administers softball in the Campbelltown region and oversees representative teams that play in the NSW League from junior through to senior grades. Comprises of approximately 600 players. The Club provides presentation venues, as well as funding towards the insurance costs.

Administers tennis in the Campbelltown area. The Association is based at the Wests Tennis Club and is responsible for the operation of junior and senior tennis competitions, as well as coaching services. Approximately 1,000 people are involved within the SDTA. The Club provides meeting and presentation venues, as well as funding to operate the SDTA, host championship events, maintain 13 tennis courts, and issue 10 Junior Tennis scholarships annually. The Club also represents at SDTA monthly Board meetings.

One of the largest hockey clubs in the Macarthur Hockey Association with 17 teams, composed of approximately 200 players aged from U7 through to Senior grades. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues, as well as funding to reduce registration fees and purchase/upgrade sporting equipment.

Administers the referees for the Western Suburbs District Junior Rugby League. There are currently 53 referees. The Club provides meeting rooms and presentation venues, as well as funding for the training and development of referees and purchasing of equipment.

Wests Tigers Macarthur JRLFC

Administers junior rugby league within the Campbelltown and bordering Liverpool areas. The Junior League comprises of 12 individual clubs. Approximately 3,135  people are involved with Wests Junior League in the district. The Club provides an operational grant, as well as funding towards the payment of players’ insurance, and referees fees for the final series. The Club also provides meeting rooms and presentation venues for the Wests Junior League and the individual clubs.
